1. Let cake be cake
I don’t offer highly frosted, decorative cakes with lots of food colouring and styling. The cake is the star. I use high quality ingredients: golden caster sugar, free range eggs and unsalted butter. My lemon icing is flavoured with real lemon juice, the coffee in my coffee and walnut cake is quality espresso.
You get the picture. Letting cake be cake.
2. Cake for all
Your allergies, dietary or lifestyle preferences shouldn’t get in the way of cake! I offer bakes to suit all sorts of dietary needs: gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan. My service is entirely tailored – I bake cakes to suit your event and your guests.
I can offer wrapped cookies in individual gift bags, flapjacks for people on the go, luxurious, squidgy fudge cake in presentation cake boxes and everything in between! We’ll talk about what suits you.
3. Connect with cake
It sounds a bit over the top to say ‘cake makes life better’, but I believe it can! Cake helps us celebrate or show we care.
And I love that connection in my work too. I don’t turn out hundreds of cakes every week. I get to know you, what your aims for your event are and then I’ll make sure I produce cakes you’re going to love! That’s why so many of my customers come back year after year.

As you can tell from the pictures, I actually spend a lot of time laughing-but I am serious about getting your cake right for you!
I’ve been baking since I was eight and running O’Crumbs since 2013. I began selling cakes in the rain to raise money for Sports Relief, nervously wondering if people would buy. I’m relieved to say they did and polished them off with great gusto!
I spent much of my pre-baking career in John Lewis and aside from the Christmas adverts, the thing they’re known for is excellent customer service. Doing things right is in my blood.
Your bake request ..
.. can be as simple as ‘I need two Victoria Sponges for this date’. I bake, deliver, job done. But, I can also help you come up with the right selection for your guests and the feel of your event. I can liaise with the venue to make sure everything’s in order. Then I can be there on the day, serving the cake and chatting to your guests. Whatever you need-all part of the service.
